Mr INDART harvests his chestnuts on his farm in Macaye.

He is a member of the Gaztaina association, set up in 2018 to rehabilitate, develop and promote chestnuts in the Northern Basque Country.

The association aims to develop and structure its production and promotion. It aims to revive chestnut growing, which used to be a staple crop in the area. Its primary objective is to structure a chestnut industry in the area, including protecting and restoring existing chestnut groves and helping to establish new ones.
