You are on a tour in the Basque country, you want to learn more about the Basque gastronomy, we suggest you a guided tour in our Espelette chilli pepper cannery. A group activity, tasty and rich, to get to know everything about Espelette chilli pepper.
1°)- Reception in the laboratory, presentation of our establishment, of Espelette chilli pepper. A bit of history about the relationship between the Basque Country and the New World.
During the week, you shall have the opportunity to watch our team converting Espelette chilli pepper.
2°) - Presentation of different kinds of chilli pepper plants:
Specifics according to the species, the progress of Espelette chilli pepper harvest, you shall learn everything about the cultivation of chilli peppers.
3°)-Moving over towards the exhibition. Presentation of the production of our cannery.
4°)- Tasting of 3 of our products on toasts.
You will taste the products that you have seen in their manufacturing process, you’ll discover all the different ways to use Espelette chilli pepper.
And eventually, you’ll be free to explore our exhibition at leisure
